Need manuscript consultation or structural editing for your book-length project?

Since 2004, when experienced editor and teacher Barbara Sjoholm created this Seattle-based project, the Author-Editor Clinic has regularly helped authors revise, clarify, expand, trim, and improve their manuscripts. We do this in the context of six-week editorial sessions offered several times a year. For a reasonable, fixed rate the Clinic has delivered a thorough reading and review with a long, detailed editorial critique to dozens of writers in the Northwest and beyond.

Because of the success of the Author-Editor Clinic, beginning in November 2008 we're expanding our services to year-round manuscript editing. With our new Manuscript Review Service you can expect the same quality editing from trained freelance editors associated with the Clinic. For a fixed and reasonable rate, every manuscript will be given a thorough reading, followed by a long, detailed critique.
